Welcome to Age on !

The gym and fitness community for people 55+ who want to live active, healthy, and social lives. Created and led by a Physical Therapist.

what is age on ?

Age On is not your typical gym – it’s a fitness community for people 55+ looking to take charge of their aging journey.

Imagine effortlessly moving up and down off the ground to play with your grandkids, tackling garden and housework with more energy and less pain, hitting a golf ball farther than your playing partner, or lifting luggage into the overhead bin on your next flight. Our targeted fitness programs address the unique needs of people 55+. With Age On, you’ll build resilience, prevent injuries, and find renewed joy in everyday activities.

Designed and led by a doctor of physical therapy who is residency trained to work with people 55+. Backed by science, our programs empower you to shape your own path and find strength in every stage of life.

testimonials

K.R. -

“As I am aging I am starting to have a list of things I need modifications for!  I find myself making excuses not to exercise because I don’t want to injure or cause more problems with an already problematic knee, feet and back. I found myself feeling more comfortable when talking to Jake about how he could help with this. I won’t be out there guessing if I am doing an exercise right. He has the knowledge and expertise to work with the older population.  Bone health and strength are such an important foundation of how we age so I am looking forward to working with Jake and doing it the right way.”

S.A. -

“I cannot express how thrilled I am to have you as a resource! I feel very fortunate knowing you have the geriatric training and leading any sessions I may attend makes me feel safe.  I feel I’d be helping my bone health in the most scientific way possible. I guess all information I obtain gives me hope.”

why choose age on ?

increase bone and muscle strength

Avoid hip and spine fractures and the disability that goes along with it. Bone and muscle strength are crucial for maintaining mobility, independence, and overall health as you age. A physical therapist can help you enhance your bone density, reduce fracture risk, and strengthen muscle.

improve balance and coordination

Move with security and confidence through your home, in your community, and on vacation. With regular balance and coordination training, you can reduce the risk of falls and move care-free no matter what life throws at you.

lower risk of chronic disease

Stay out of the hospital and reduce your health-care costs. Build a stronger foundation for an active lifestyle. Let us help you build resilience for the road ahead.

Join a community & have fun!
